The Gathering Storm [2015]

A digital illustration inspired by the book of the same name by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson.
This is version 2 of this painting.

I painted this with an eye towards the feeling of the scene rather than the word of the scene itself. I hoped to capture the energy of his revelation, though there aren't any sky beams in the text!

I label this as [2015] because I have an upcoming edit that I will be releasing either at the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022.
